Le PYN, Paz Ahora, et ISM tentent de briser le blocus de Gaza en envoyant un convoi médical d’une valeur de 50.000 Euros à Gaza. Ils sont actuellement au Caire. Ci-dessous leur communiqué de presse en français, anglais et arabe, rédigé hier.
« Le Palestinian Youth Network (PYN), ainsi que l’association espagnole Paz Ahora et l’International Solidarity Movement (ISM) en Espagne vont envoyer un convoi de médicaments d’une valeur de 50.000 Euros aux cliniques des Nations-Unies qui opèrent dans huit camps de réfugiés de la Bande de Gaza.
Une délégation à laquelle participent Julio Rodriguez, président de l’Association Paz Ahora, et Saif Abukeshek, le coordinateur général du Palestinian Youth Network se rendront au Caire le jeudi 7 février, où ils rencontreront des représentants de l’agence de l’ONU pour les réfugiés (UNRWA) et achèteront les médicaments identifiés comme étant les plus nécessaires aux dispensaires de l’UNRWA à Gaza. Ils vont tenter d’entrer dans Gaza, en passant par la frontière de Rafah avec l’Egypte, le samedi 9 février.
«Les sociétés civiles du monde entier ne doivent plus tolérer l’injustice en Palestine. Ce qui se passe dans la bande de Gaza sont des crimes de guerre et des sanctions collectives. Nous continuerons à soutenir le peuple palestinien. » a déclaré Julio Rodriguez, le président de l’association Paz Ahora.
Le fermeture hermétique qu’impose Israël à la bande de Gaza prive 1,5 million de Palestiniens de nourriture, d’équipements médicaux et autres produits de première nécessité tels que le carburant et l’électricité, tuant lentement les habitants de Gaza.
Selon la Campagne Internationale palestinienne pour la Fin du siège de Gaza, 90 malades sont décédés depuis le mois de juin 2007 comme résultat direct du siège israélien qui leur a refusé un accès à un traitement médical.
107 sortes de médicaments de base sont en rupture de stock et 97 autres sont sur le point de manquer.
D’après le Commissaire général de l’UNRWA, «Gaza est sur le point de devenir le premier territoire à être volontairement réduit à un état de misère abjecte, avec l’accord et -certains diraient- l’encouragement de la communauté internationale ».
« Ce qui se passe à Gaza est une nouvelle Nakba (Catastrophe). Le silence de la communauté internationale est scandaleux, mais la jeunesse palestinienne dans le monde refuse de faire partie de ce silence. Nous nous organisons pour aider à la survie de nos frères et sœurs dans la bande de Gaza, tout en poursuivant nos efforts pour mettre fin à l’oppression d’Israël et au refus systématique des droits fondamentaux de notre peuple », a déclaré Saif AbuKeshek, coordinateur général du PYN.

PYN, Paz Ahora, and ISM attempt to break the blockade by sending a 50,000 Euro medical convoy into Gaza.
[RAMALLAH] The Palestinian Youth Network (PYN), together with the Spanish Paz Ahora Association, and the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) in Spain will deliver 50,000 euros worth of medicine to United Nations-operated clinics in Gaza’s eight refugee camps.
A delegation in which participates Julio Rodriguez, President of Paz Ahora Association, and Saif Abukeshek, General Coordinator of the Palestinian Youth Network will head to Cairo on Thursday, February 7, where they will meet with United Nations Relief Works Agency (UNRWA) representatives and purchase the medicines identified as most needed by the UNRWA clinics in Gaza. They will try to cross to Gaza, through the Rafah border with Egypt on Saturday, February 9.
« Civil societies around the world must not tolerate the injustice in Palestine, what is happening in Gaza are war crimes and collective punishment. We will continue to support the Palestinian people. » said Julio Rodriguez, President of Paz Ahora Association.
Israel’s hermetic closure on the Gaza Strip is denying 1.5 million Palestinians food, medical supplies and other necessities such as fuel and electricity, slowly killing the people of Gaza. According to the Palestinian International Campaign to End the Siege on Gaza, 90 patients have died since June 2007 as a direct result of Israel’s siege, which denied them access to medical treatment. 107 classes of basic medicines are depleted from Gaza Strip and 97 sorts of medicines are on the verge of depletion. According to the Commissioner-General of UNRWA, « Gaza is on the threshold of becoming the first territory to be intentionally reduced to a state of abject destitution, with the knowledge, acquiescence and–some would say–encouragement of the international community, »
« What is happening in Gaza is the new Nakba (Catastrophe). The silence from the international community is outrageous, but Palestinian youth around the world refuse to be part of this silence. We are organizing to support the survival of our brothers and sisters in Gaza, as we continue our effort to end Israel’s oppression and systematic denial of the basic rights of our people, » said Saif AbuKeshek, General Coordinator of the PYN.

ستقوم شبكة الشباب الفلسطيني بالتعاون مع جمعية السلام الان الاسبانيه وحركة التضامن العالمي في اسبانيا بتوصيل دواء بقيمة 50000 يورو لعيادات الامم المتحده في مخيمات اللاجئين الثمانيه في غزه.
وفي يوم الخميس السابع من شباط سيتوجه وفد يتألف من خوليو رودريجس رئيس جمعية السلام الان وسيف ابوكشك المنسق العام لشبكة الشباب الفلسطيني. وهناك سوف يلتقون بممثلين من الاونوروا لشراء قائمة الادوية التي تعد من اهم الاحتياجات لعيادات الاونوروا في غزه وسيتم توصيلها يوم السبت التاسع من شباط عن طريق معبر رفح عند الحدود المصرية.
هذا وقد صرح السيد خوليو رودريجس — رئيس جمعية السلام الان — قائلا (المجتمعات المدنية في كل انحاء العالم يجب ان لا تتسامح مع الظلم الذي يحدث في فلسطين , وما يحدث في غزه يعد جريمة حرب وعقاب جماعي. وسوف نواصل دعمنا للشعب الفلسطيني).
إن الاغلاق الذي تقوم به اسرائيل في قطاع غزه وحرمان اكثر من 1.5مليون فلسطيني من الطعام واللوازم الطبيه واحتياجات اخرى كالكهرباء والوقود, هو قتل بطيء للشعب الفلسطيني في غزه.
هذا و وفقاً لحملة فلسطين العالمية لانهاء الحصار في غزه فقد توفي 90 مريض منذ شهر حزيران لعام 2007 كنتيجه للحصار الاسرائيلي المباشر الذي حرمهم من مواصلة علاجهم الطبي. كما أن هناك 107 صنف من الدواء الاساسي استنفذت في قطاع غزه و97 نوع من الدواء على وشك النفاذ. وقد وصف المفوض العام للاونورواالوضع في غزة مشيراً إلى أن غزه على وشك ان تتحول الى المنطقة الاولى عالميا المقلصة عمدا لتصبح الاكثر عوزا و فقرا و ذلك بعلم ومعرفة أو كما يقول البعض -بتواطؤ المجتمع الدولي-.
كما أضاف السيد سيف أبو كشك– منسق شبكة الشباب الفلسطيني– » ما يحصل في غزه هو نكبه جديده (كارثه) والصمت الدولي هو اكبر مأساة وشيء فظيع تجاوز جميع الحدود. ان الشباب الفلسطيني في جميع انحاء العالم يرفض أن يكون جزءا من هذا الصمت. إن ما ننظمه ما هو الا لدعم صمود اخواننا واخواتنا في غزه, ولانهاء الاضطهاد الاسرائلي المبرمج الذي ينكر حق شعبنا في العيش الكريم » .
