Alors qu’Israël interdit à tout journaliste, à tout médecin, à quiconque, de pénétrer dans la Bande de Gaza et que, de manière générale, il est interdit de se rendre en Palestine depuis des années, que ce soit à Gaza ou en Cisjordanie, Israël contrôlant toutes les issues et refoulant tout visiteur annonçant qu’il se rend en Palestine ou le soupçonnant de vouloir s’y rendre, le SALON DU TOURISME ISRAELIEN annonce qu’il « fêtera le centenaire de Tel Aviv » et « permettra à une cinquantaine d’exposants de présenter leur offre aux visiteurs » !

Benabou, directeur général de l’Office national israélien du tourisme (ONIT) à Paris, qui vante « une offre variée pour les visiteurs » et » ne doute pas du succès de la troisième édition du STIFE, le Salon du Tourisme Israélien en France, organisé de nouveau au Grand Hôtel Intercontinental à Paris, le 15 janvier prochain. » « La manifestation est en effet l’occasion pour les différents acteurs du secteur du tourisme israélien de rencontrer leurs partenaires français, TO, agences de voyages et incentive, CE et représentants d’associations culturelles et cultuelles. «C’est devenu un rendez-vous incontournable pour ceux qui organisent des voyages sur Israël. Sur un total d’une cinquantaine d’exposants, nous compterons une trentaine de voyagistes»« , précise-t-il.

On the one hand, Israel is currently prohibiting all journalists, all doctors, and all other witnesses from entering the Gaza Strip, while as a usual practice, most people have been prohibited from going to Palestine for years (both Gaza and the West Bank). Israel controls all the entrances, turning back all visitors who announce their interest in going to Palestine or even those who are suspected of wanting to visit there. On the other hand, the ISRAELI TOURISM FAIR announces that it “will celebrate the hundred year anniversary of Tel Aviv” and “will permit some fifty exibitors to present their tours to visitors”.

Explain to them that there will be a lot of very bad world-wide publicity, and that their reputation will be irredeemably damaged if they welcome these war criminals, and associate themselves with the kinds of people who should be brought before an international war crimes tribunal.
