Face l’indignation exprimée par de très nombreuses personnes, en France et à l’Etranger, lorsqu’elles ont appris la tenue d’un salon du tourisme israélien dans ce grand hotel parisien, la direction de l’établissement a pris la décision d’annuler cet événement qui devait se dérouler ce jeudi 15 janvier.
La direction de l’hôtel, comme nous l’a confirmé la préfecture de police de Paris, nous a indiqué qu’elle renonçait à recevoir les 50 exposants israéliens qui devaient présenter leurs « offres en matière de tourisme ».
Nous remercions vivement toutes les personnes et associations en France et à l’Etranger qui ont pris la peine de développer leurs arguments auprès des responsables de l’hôtel, qui les ont étudiés et pris en compte.
Nous remercions la direction de l’hôtel de cette décision, et soulignons que les relations commerciales, comme toutes les autres relations, doivent être soumises à un minimum de règles éthiques.
Tant qu’Israël martyrisera tout un peuple, pour s’approprier ses terres, au mépris de toutes les conventions internationales et des droits humains les plus fondamentaux, il ne sera pas question de se rendre complices de ces violations.
La tenue d’un salon du tourisme israélien aurait été particulièrement obscène pendant les massacres ininterrompus de l’armée israélienne dans la bande de Gaza. Mais c’est l’ensemble des relations et collaborations avec Israël que nous avons le devoir moral de geler tant que se poursuivent l’occupation et l’emprisonnement de tout un peuple, privé de liberté depuis plus de 60 ans.
Ensemble, nous avons non seulement le devoir, mais aussi le pouvoir de refuser l’impunité dont jouit depuis si longtemps le terrorisme d’Etat israélien. Impunité qui l’incite à redoubler de violence à l’encontre des hommes, femmes et enfants palestiniens, et à multiplier, ici en France, les provocations telles que les galas au profit de l’armée israélienne ou les agressions de ses nervis du Betar et de la LDJ (Ligue de Défense Juive), qui viennent de blesser deux lycéens de Jeanson de Sailly pour délit de faciès.
D’autres batailles nous attendent. Ensemble, nous les mèneront.

The Grand Hotel Intercontinental cancels the Israeli Tourism Fair
Confronted with the indignation expressed by so many people in France
and abroad who had heard about the scheduled Israeli Tourism Fair in
this great Parisian hotel, the management of this establishment has
made the decision to cancel this event, which was supposed to open on
January 15.
The hotel’s management, as the Paris police prefecture has confirmed
to us, has indicated that it has disinvited the 50 Israeli exhibitors
who had planned to present their tourism products.
We express our profound appreciation for all the individuals and
associations in France and abroad that made the effort to express
their arguments to the hotel management, arguments that were certainly taken into account in the decision to cancel the event.
We also thank the management of the hotel for this decision, and we
stress that commercial relations and all other interactions should be
guided by basic ethical rules.
As long as Israel makes martyrs of an entire people in order to annex their lands, defying all international conventions as well as the most
fundamental human rights, we must avoid any acts that would turn us
into accomplices.
Holding an Israeli tourism fare would have been especially obscene while the Israeli army continues its massacres in the Gaza Strip. But it is the web of relations and collaboration with Israel which we have the moral duty to freeze, as long as there is a continuation of the occupation and enslavement of a whole people, deprived of liberty for more than 60 years.
Together, we have not only the duty but also the power to reject the impunity enjoyed for so long by Israeli state terrorism. Impunity which encourages it to increase the violence carried out against Palestinian men, women and children, and to multiply, here in France, provocative actions such as the benefit galas for the Israeli army and the attacks by the thugs of Betar or the JDL (Jewish Defence League) who last week wounded two students of the Janson de Sailly high school.

That is how we announced the entry, yesterday, into Gaza of a surgical mission led by Prof. Christophe Oberlin, and we praise the courage of the French, Greek, German and Egyptian specialists who have broken the siege in order to aid the wounded.

فندق انتركونتينانتال الكبير في باريس يلغي صالون السياحة الاسرائيلي
بعد تلقّيه العديد من الرسائل والمكالمات الهاتفيّة والتلكسات من قبل العديد من المواطنين الفرنسيين والأجانب المحتجّين، قرّرت ادارة فندق انتركونتيناتال الغاء صالون السياحة الاسرائيلي الذي كان متوقعا اقامته هذا الخميس الواقع في الخامس عشر من شهر كانون الثاني الجاري.
ولقد تأكدنا من هذا القرار عبر مركز الشرطة في باريس، الذي أبلغنا أن ادارة الفندق ألغت استقبال خمسين عارضا من الشركات الاسرائيليّة التي كانت توّد « عرض نتاجاتها السياحيّة ».
نودّ التوجه بالشكر الى كلّ الأفراد والجمعيّات المحليّة والعالميّة التي لبّت نداءنا للتحرّك من أجل اسقاط هذا المشروع وذلك عبرالاتصّال وشرح واعطاء البراهين لما يرتكبه جيش هذه الدولة بحقّ المواطنين العزّل في غزّة وفي كافة الأراضي الفلسطينيّة وغيرها ممّا جعل الادارة أخذها بعين الاعتبار ودفعها الى الغاء الصالون المذكور.
كما نتوجّه أيضا بالشكر الى ادارة فندق انتركونتينانتال، مذكّرين في نفس الوقت بأنّ العلاقات التجاريّة وغيرها، عليها الأخذ بعين الاعتبارللقواعد الأخلاقيّة.
فطالما أنّ اسرائيل لا تتوانى عن قتل وترويع شعب بأكمله لاحتلال أرضه، بغضّ النظر عن كل المعاهدات الدوليّة المتعلّقة بالحقوق الانسانيّة الرئيسيّة، لا نستطيع أن نكون مشاركين في جرائمها وعدم احترامها لهذه المعاهدات والحقوق.
اقامة هذا المعرض في وقت يقوم فيه جيش اسرائيل بشكل متواصل بكافة أشكال المجازر البشعة في غزّة لا يسعنا الاّ وصفه بوصمة عار.ولكننا نطالب أيضا بقطع كافة أشكال التعامل مع اسرائيل والمتوجّب علينا تجميدها طالما أنّ الاحتلال مستمرّ واعتقال شعب بأكمله في سجن كبير محروم من الحريّة منذ ستين عاما.
معا علينا واجب رفض عدم محاكمة اسرائيل على ما تقوم به، لأنّ التعامل معها وعدم قصاصها يدفعها الى اضعاف عنفها ضدّ الرجال والنساء والأطفال العزّل في فلسطين، والى اضعاف استفزازاتها في باريس من اقامة حفلات لدعم جيشها وقيام مؤيديها من أمثال « البتار » و »جمعية الدفاع عن اليهود » بأعمال عنف اتجاه من يتظاهر ضدّ ما تقوم به اسرائيل، أو اتجّاه من لا يقبل بقراءة مناشيرها وآخرها التعرّض بالضرب لطلاّب في ثانوية « جونسون دي سايي » في الدائرة السادسة عشرة من مدينة باريس.
كفاحات اخرى بانتظارنا، وسوف نخوضها معا.

وخاصة خلال هذه المحنة. وفي هذا الصدد لقد أعلمناكم بالأمس، عن وصول الجرّاحين الفرنسيين وعلى رأسهم البروفيسور كريستوف أوبرلن الى غزّة، ولا يسعنا سوى أن نحيي شجاعة الأخصائيين الفرنسيين واليونانيين والالمان والمصريين اللذين كسروا حصار غزّة ليحاولوا انقاذ الجرحى.
